Broader Curriculum
School visits
At St. George’s School we believe that nothing can match first hand experiences on pupils’ learning. Consequently, we organise regular visits to places of interest or invite visitors which tie in with the topics being studied at the time.
We are fortunate to have a link with a school in Spain and year 6 pupils have an opportunity to visit during the summer term. This is a tremendous chance to explore a new environment and share different experiences.
All trips, whether for a day or longer, follow the Worcestershire code of practice for school trips.
Clubs
There are a number of sports clubs which run throughout the year, depending on the season. There are also other clubs which are run by staff and outside agencies. Opportunities to join are shared with the children.
“We have lots of clubs including football, multi-skills, tennis, hockey and netball. Our favourite thing is the mini-game on the last day!” Eesa & Dior |
